About DISHA

District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committees (DISHA), have been constituted by Ministry of Rural Development at district levels under the Chairpersonship of concerned Member of Parliament to monitor proper implementation of key Central Schemes/ Programmes and to ensure better coordination at all the levels of elected representatives for efficient and time-bound development of districts. Similarly, State Development Coordination and Monitoring Committees have also been constituted under the chairpersonship of concerned Chief Minister/Administrator to attend to the matters which need to be resolved at the highest level in the State/UT.
